Of the ones i didn't have a hand in promoting, these have been the stand outs this year...

Jeffrey Foucault & Ry Cavanaugh @ The Guitar Bar, Nottingham
Rachel Ries + Ian Bramall @ Delaney's, Sheffield
Neil McSweeny + David J. Roch @ The Lantern Theatre, Sheffield
Rod Picott + Wild Ponies @ The Maze, Nottingham
Jason Isbell + Amanda Shires @ The Social, Nottingham
The Clench + Big Convoy @ The Green Room, Sheffield
Warner E. Hodges + Roaming Son @ The Greystones, Sheffield

Of the ones i did, well they were all awesome, and too many highlights to mention. But they're all listed at the bottom here: http://wagonwheelmedia.wordpress.com/gigs/past-gigs/ :(

Trouble Will Find Me is most certainly my most bestest favouritest album this year. They were sooo fucking good love again even if it was the O2... They have a handful of summer dates coming up thankfully 4 of them are in Ireland so maybe there is an excuse for your trip !

JD McPherson @ The Deaf Institute, Manchester, best gig ive been to in a long while, great venue too.
Public Service Broadcasting at the Leadmill, Sheffield. didn't know what to expect...blew me away.
Ethan Johns / Will Barstow @ The Leadmill, Sheffield - intimate gig to a handful of people, great songs and stories. Local support Will Barstow was equally as good.
Lonesome & Penniless Cowboys @ The Greystones, Sheffield. one of Craigs nights, had the pleasure of opening up for them with M&J Blues, Clive Guested with us, and Hawley & Shez guested with the Cowboys. great night!

Done a few gigs myself this year, highlights have been Roaming Son e.p. launch, 7 gigs in two days over the Tramlines weekend, and definately backing up & opening up for Jason & The Scorchers guitarist Warner E. Hodges. that will definately take some beating.
