The People's History Museum (PHM) in Manchester is the only museum in the country to be losing all of its central government funding from 2017. You may remember the hoohah from a couple of years back when it looked like several museums would have their funding cut. Well, through mergers and various other means, all of the other museums are thankfully now sorted, but PHM stands alone, in jeopardy and without a hope of getting its central funding back.
So, this Saturday, there is a fundraising day of events, culminating in a live show on Saturday evening, featuring The Lonesome & Penniless Cowboys and a rare acoustic set by Marion.

It would be bloody great to see some of you there, if you can be in Manchester on Saturday...
