Great photos - thought I spied you in that prime spot! I should imagine that young guy, whoever he was, got some good shots too - once he moved the camera strap out of the way of his lens! He was all over the place, even on the "stage" a couple of times

Yes - I noticed the camera strap issue! Hope he got some good ones. He was working for the Cavern management apparently.

Cheers - this one -someone said it looked like Clive was actually appearing out of the Devil's Arse, what with all that red smoke and stuff....

I slightly suspect the devils actual arse wouldn't have that much light?....not that he exists of course....no I think Clive has in reality in this picture just been the cobbed out of the big brother house....he was the first one the public voted out because his constant harmonica playing isn't for everyone....!!!

Back to photo duty - Lady Maisery at the beautiful Biddulph Church 10th May 2017. Here's Hannah James, stalwart of the folk scene.

Two more added to the post-retirement plans - the Rolling Stones in Dusseldorf in October and the Savoy Family Cajun Band (without my mate Sarah) in Farndale West Yorkshire and possibly the Vic Hotel Menai Bridge.

I was down in London on exam board work this weekend, so there had to be music.

Wreckless Eric (turning into Neil Young) supported by the fantastic Emily Capell:

In a moment of boredom I checked out who was playing in London on the night of my next exam board related journey in a couple of weeks.

It's Kiss.

Standing ticket. O2 Arena.

Local gig to see my mates in The Penny Dreadfuls and Tin Chapel play a double-header promoting their joint album release:

Here's the multi-talented Dan Rowley of Tin Chapel

Here's what Tin Chapel sound like. Maximum jangle.

My friend Whitney Rose made it to these shores and I made it to the first two gigs of her short UK tour - but she's been playing throughout Europe with only three days off since February...
As a result her band is as tight as a very tight thing indeed. I got a dedication and my favourite song added into the set in Sheffield, which was a lovely bonus. Going to see them again at the Green Note in Camden on Saturday, then next week it's Ron Sexsmith and.....Kiss.
