Saw Tony at Glastonbury in 1998 - he was on in the slot before Bob Dylan!

Probably bought by Robbie Williams or maybe his management company...

The Cactus Blossoms at Seven Arts in Leeds - fan-bloody-tastic! Saw them supporting Dwight Yoakam in New York last summer and have been itching to see them again - and now I'm itching to see them yet again....

This week I took the pics for the Biddulph Up in Arms gig at St Lawrence's Church in Biddulph for Ange Hardy and Lukas Drinkwater. Great venue for this ethereal folkie music. (Would be perfect for a RH/Shez gig - hint hint)

"Man and the Echo" a couple of weeks ago in London. Four young lads from Warrington with a wicked sense of humour and harmonies to die for.
Like putting the Arctic Monkeys, Beatles, Divine Comedy, Beach Boys and a good dose of northern soul in a blender. Joyous and soulful. Loved it. :Hoorah
Go and see them if you need a lift.

Saw a blues guy from South Georgia, Kent Duchaine, at the Cock Inn, in Leek last night. We're playing there next Saturday.

I was out in Manchester on Monday, went to see Green Day with my daughter, the 4th time we have been to see them. Was a great crowd singing along, I joined in. Next gig, Alice Cooper in Manchester again in November. :D

A couple of my colleagues play in a heavy metal covers band - one of the assistant heads and his son, who's head of IT. They were pretty entertaining:

Next gig is one of my band's - a charity gig at the Glebe in Stoke for our former guitarist who died last October - and after that it's Neil McSweeney playing with Lucy Farrell and M.G. Boulter at the Biddulph Arms.

What a coincidence...I have a back row seat for Neil McSweeney playing with Lucy Farrell and M.G. Boulter at the Biddulph Arms.

Managed to sneak in an extra evening of music - Congleton Unplugged featured a number of local acts being quite plugged and not at all unplugged. Felt sorry for my friends in Tin Chapel who pulled the short straw of playing a rough-arse pub at tipping out time. Hope Darren Poyzer who's playing there tomorrow inbetween Match of the Day and the Boxing survives...

Tin Chapel's Nick Sharratt. He only looks mildly worried.

Mark Harrison playing finger-picking blues in the altogether friendlier King's Arms.

I gigged myself on Saturday - a private party. Euphemistically - it was a good payer...
