It would have to be stilton & brocolli, but for the purpose of this poll, mulligitawny. Used to like wazzy chicken chemical stuff that came out of a packet when I went fishing, but wouldn't touch it now.

Cheers, Steve.

I feel i have to point out that chower is not just fish. It can be made form anything as long as it has maize flower and sweetcorn in it. It's the thickness and consistancy that defines a chowder.

Am i being too predantic???

*Considers carefully*

Nope this is a thread about soup i'm fine

'FINE'??? Now there's a word. Thanks for enlightening me about the term 'chowder', however its still not appealing to me... :o

You're more thatn welcome! :D

I will stick with fine. Anything else gets too complicated though pensive, strange, bizzare and crazy among others have also been used to discribe me in the past :Hoorah

Currently Happy and Content seem to be top of my list 8)

Buckfast? It's a very sweet tonic wine which is very popular with.........errr.....let's just say the less discerning 'street drinker' north of the border...... hmmmmmmmm......help me out here disneytime..........you and your mates must swill it every weekend eh?..

Bugger off :*: Never touched the stuff in my life.

However. Yes. Buckfast is a really cheap, really crap wine. Its main target market is people who wear white Lacoste tracksuits and lots of Burberry and say "Awww wit!" or "NAW!" when you walk past. I have never known a single person to drink it at home, and pubs don't sell it. It only exists on street corners and in parks.

Just somehow ended up reading this damning critique of the mighty Buckfast. Nowhere near as bad as all that....I've drunk it in quantity before now and it has admirable qualities. Sure it's long been associated with gentlemen of the road and other assorted jakeys but that can be a recommendation in its own way :*: Tonic wine made by monks - what could possibly go wrong? Few years since I had some like and that was when I was also consuming what were then £1.99 bottles of sherry from safeway in Aberdeen so mebbes Buckfast benefitted from this perspective.

Never tried another Scottish tipple, Electric Soup - Irn Bru and Brasso!
