All things going to plan, my exam results should arrive. Then I'm off camping for a few days in a place with a good old Scottish name that I can't pronounce, somewhere up north, for celebrations or commiserations or whatever...

So. Fingers crossed and all that.

Yes, good luck - I remember whenever I had to go and pick exam results up it felt like there was an earthquake in my chest and a typhoon in my stomach, such were the nerves. Fingers crossed for you :D

My a levels were the same - but that was mainly because it was the day after my 18th birthday and I'd done a run of the bar the night before...

good luck Disley, if you are anywhere near as intelligent and eloquent as you sound on the forums for such a wee nipper, then sounds like you'll romp home.

and if you don't then don't be that arsed either, many years on and i can't remember a single instance that i've been asked what i got in my Oooh or Aaaar levels or degree for that matter. (I did pirating Aaaaar level, I got a 'that it B')

Your results are bound to be ace Disneytime. As has already been mentioned, you are an intelligent bright girl, with a maturity way beyond your years. However, if for some reason they aren't as good as you expected, then it's not the end of the world - it just means you travel a slightly different route to your desired destination!

Enjoy the camping too. My daughter is off on a camping jaunt shortly: The Black Isle, then John O'Groats, and then Ullapool. Bound to rain, but who cares?

Good Luck!

Disneytime will pass with flying colours.

Sunflower - why are you hiding, Patrick is so much nicer than the bag.

You have nothing to worry about Disneytime ... you'll do really well because you love learning :D and you've already moved on, you'll fly through your Highers too

And just for your quote book:

"Gie me ae spark o' Nature's fire,
That's a' the learning I desire"

[Epistle to a young friend, Robert Burns, 1786]
