Thought it was time for some blokey-themed thread ... seeing as those with the Y chromosome are genetically programmed to slather at chrome bumpers and the like.

... ... and Disneytime wants to learn to drive ... so she can attend more Hawley gigs :D ... so thought we could begin by inducting her in all things cars.

I'm interested in knowing if anyone's brought one of those gadgets for running ipods instead of cds in the car ... ... and whether they're any good or just frustrating?

... and I discovered this week that I can drive 2 hours in 3.5 inch heels and still parallel park

My dad's bought one of those, but he's never used it. Even when driving through the Highlands - where you hear nothing but a vague distant crackling - he insists on listening to the radio

I did ask him if it was just because he didn't know how to use it and he didn't answer, so I think you may be right :*:

Don't worry.....my drinking and driving is getting a lot better. I find if I swig it out of the bottle I spill a lot less!

If Dave is going 'dressed' ready for the gig he'll be driving with that green thing of his anyway, like most men do

Go check out the Holmfirth gig thread for Dave's planned appearance, Sunflower. If you can't be bothered, a clue .... some men keep their brains there.
