I'm thinking this is a mockumentary in the works. He's putting together all the songs and some filmmaker (I forget) is putting together a film of him producing the songs. A Borat farce sort of thing. I don't think this is a serious effort on JP's part. It's just show business, folks.

And...everyone was scratching their heads about me nominating JP as an RH lookalike...come on...pop some Buddy Holly glasses on JP and you got RH.

I am not sure about JP doing the hip hop thing ...........................but I did think he did a good job in 'Walk the Line'..................

i've not commented on this yet but i've been following the news for about a month. At first i thought it was real and he was giving up but as the whole event gathers pace i'm pretty sure it's for a documentry. Casey Afleck is filming him all the time (he's his brother in law).

This was on last night, right at the end he says you did a good job, it's good but does look a little staged.
