I realize that title leaves it wide open for abuse, but last night I had a new experience when I went to a Japanese restaurant for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised....infact it was bloody lovely!! After 40 years I'm always up for trying something new........

......I also tried gentlemans relief while wearing a velvet glove, but that's a different thread altogether!!!

i'm pretty good at cooking japanese food, sushi id easy enough and fun. My fave is Chicken cooked is dashi then eggs over, it's a bit like a foo yung but picks up some nice flavours from the fish stock, don't sound like anything special but it's really nice.

There's a great Japanese restaurant in Liverpool. It's in Chinatown and the chefs are Malaysian.

Only in Liverpool, eh? :)
