It's not the harrassment case (that's still pending!) It's regarding my upcoming theatre debut!

*I had NOTHING to do with the Hawley reference it's entirly the opinion of the playwright and I wish he'd not said it!!!!* :shock:

Long live individuality and authenticity! It is an odd thing for a journalist to say or write! I guess sounding like someone who is well known for singing and song writing IS a huge compliment,

Hopefully Dave sings and writes like Dave tho. :D

We're all just teasing Dave (although I AM still happy with the one and only Richard!).

These journalists have to make comparisons, but its a nice one and I'm sure Richard won't mind as you're a mate of his and write good stuff too! :wink:

in most every bit of press ive had ive been compared to Richard - guess sheffield singer-songwriters who work within a similar vein, shall we say, will get that as richard is successful enough for the press to be able to make that local comparison and have readers know who they're on about. anyway, as i said in an interview its better than being compared to westlife. am gonna try and make it down one night, dave. sounds belting.

i completely agree. its just laziness but as craig mentioned its like putting you in a context that readers might understand..... gets my back up when i hear you being compared to elvis or sinatra -flattering as fuck but those guys never wrote a song. :wink:
