I just wondered how you did it... so that I could save radio stuff. As far as I understand it, you can't podcast radio stuff that contains music because of royalties etc. But I am a manic consumer of radio and it annoys me when it disappears after a few days. Can't keep up with it all!!!! And there's me thinking I'd found a kindred spirit |

Errrm.....I'm almost too embarrassed to mention this, but I will anyway The Donald Campbell TV documentary I spoke of only last week - and which efsb kindly arranged a download of (excellent & instantly accessible forever on my laptop) - is now being shown again, tonight at 6.30pm on BBC 2. So, should anyone with a DVD recording apparatus happen to be watching, I would be forever in their debt if, maybe, they could record it for me. So I could also view it forever on my television set . I would, of course, cover any expense incurred ...... Bleeding cheek? Well....yes... |

Sorry Lofty I'd love to help but I only have a hard drive recorder. I hope someone records it on disk for you. x |

There are a couple of BBC documentaries on Donald Campbell on YouTube. Think this one is the one you refer to: http://youtu.be/71G4TXpWDuc and another shorter one: http://youtu.be/XmuPC6l813Q Hopefully they'll stay up long enough for at least a few views lofty. |

Thanks folks - great stuff there on youtube re Campbell. Surprising how much 'new' stuff comes up when you're not looking! And a good fairy has indeed recorded the Sunday programme for me. |

Here's another impossibility. Keep hearing a song on Gem 106 radio, at work. Lots of noise going on in our shed & difficult to hear anything in detail. I'm guessing it's either in the charts or has been recently. Can't even say for sure if it's a male or female voice. Only style I can liken it to is that of Paolo Nuttini. Like I said. Impossible....... |

Thanks Denise, I'll check that out. Could be either of those! As I say, there's a lot of ambient noise. I'll give them both a good listen |
