Very sad news, pretty gutted, one of my favourites since the 80's.

A very talented musician, writer and singer. The live version of Nothing Compares 2 U always gets me.

I saw him in 2010 for the first time and I was amazed how good he was on the guitar. I have seen a lot of guitar players and I would rank him right up there with the best.

I pretty much ignored Prince but was stopped in my tracks by Sign of the times, not least the blues guitar. Kiss is a cool tune. No age. RIP
