I am getting married on Saturday. We met after I ventured into my local pub after moving to a new town on my own. He saw me come in wearing my Standing at the Sky's Edge t-shirt. He is also a fan. We got talking about music and two years later we are getting married. Thank you Mr Hawley, we owe you a pint or two!

Thank you :D

If you hadn't been playing at the other end of the country you'd be welcome to stop in for some cake!

By the way, even though I could probably nail a box of either in about 30 seconds, I think the Orange Matchmakers are the best!

They are good but not as good as Icebreaker chocolate, which was like Matchmakers but only in a giant bar. It cost 10p and I bought it on a Saturday with my pocket money and ate it square by square like Charlie Bucket. Although this picture does suggest it was 6p but inflation was rife in the seventies.

My all time favourite & they brought them back, briefly, in the 1980s. About time they did so again. And do you remember Mint Cracknell? Used to cut your tongue to ribbons :?

Toblerone is the worst for stabbing your mouth to death! And then glueing your teeth together with the little bits in it. My sister and I ate a whole bag of Boost mini things on the way home from the shop yesterday. They are far more delicious than full sized Boost!

Hope the wedding went well!

As a kid who grew up in a sweet shop in the 70's, I remember all these! I also remember the 7p Milky Way and 1/2p mojo. I always remember a kid came in wanting change for the bus to go from Bramley to Rotherham, he gave me a pound and wanted 1 mojo! The bus fare was only 2p in those days!
