Chuck's shows at the Blue Note in Columbia, Missouri were often hot messes. But that was kind of the selling point for me. I lived in Missouri for 25 years, and to this day it remains bizarre to me that he didn't live far away in mid-Missouri for such a period of time, and that you would just unexpectedly see Chuck Berry around. Thanks, Chuck.

He had completed a new album titled 'CHUCK' should be out in May I believe. The black mark in his song book was the awful 'My Dingaling' in '73 even though it sold well apparently. Had been silent for many years..... ..>

Another rock n roll originator whose records have been a touchstone of my life. So we have Jerry Lee, Fats, Little Richard, Don Everly , Duane Eddy and Dion of that defining era still breathing the same air as us.RIP Chuck
