A real loss. It's been expected for some time and in some ways will be a blessing, but sad news to hear. He wasn't without his demons, but the last few years of recording and touring showed that he still had the love of his family. Ghost on the Canvas was one of his standout songs of recent years.

His recordings of the (wonderful) Jimmy Webb songs are timeless classics.

My personal favourite has to be Gentle on my Mind. There's been some great versions of this song over the years (including Dean Martin and Elvis) but Glen's was my favourite.
