It's becoming a regular occurrence now-this thing called dying; just have to make the best of things :(

Ain't No Pleasing You is a canny record. All the Cockney shit is horrible. He had a much more interesting career before Chas and Dave. Great boogie pianist
Word podcast with him is worth a listen

There is a photo in existence of me next to Chas and Dave, I had the bizarre experience of explaining a local history exhibition I'd assembled to Dave who was inebriated and incoherent.
All Spurs fans in shock
RIP

I've known for a long time he played bass in a band called the Outlaws in 1961 which featured the then unknown Richie Blackmore.. but I wouldn't buy or listen to any of the Chas n Dave 'Rockney' music from the 80s. Some like it, it has it's place..

From the film Live It Up, which, if you can look beyond the naff 1960s teen film premise, contains some rare footage.

Dream of The West, highly regarded by instrumental fans, Outlaws album.
