He used to play in a great R&B band also - The Alligators - played the local clubs up here.. Shame only Alan Price takes the royalties for that version, stiffed the rest of the band. |

I recently saw Eric Burdon on TV..I think it was Sky Arts ; he's still very bitter about the royalties issue to this day, a lot of animosity towards Price. It has to be said, Alan's playing on keyboards was a big part of that record's impact... |
