I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

society has a lot to answer for - i just think its commercial bollocks perpetrated by greeting card companies eager to cash in on the slow period between christmas and mothers day

oh and nobody loves me either but they can all fuck off anyway

putting aside these hilarious jokes and that...wasn't it actually invented, or at least brushed up from nothing, by Hallmark? I know theres lots of things we take for granted as ye olde were put up jobs [canny book called 'The Invention of Tradition' by - I think - Eric Hobsbawm laid a few out]

I can cope with the Valentine's cards to one's other half... but when you get the cards 'from the cat', 'to my son/daughter/mum and dad/niece/friend' I think it has gone WAY too far.

From the cat.... ffs!
