England never needed an excuse to be motivated to beat the french (and vice versa).

and what is that sudden support to the Irish?

You raped, killed, colonialised, divided and denied them for centuries and now you want to avenge them for a hand goal?

right then. for a start, i'm a quarter irish. i'm in complete agreement with what you say in the third paragraph. i believe we've apologised for the slave trade or been asked to, but i also think that the fact that we've tried to almost ethnically cleanse some of our home nations down the years is something that we should also say sorry for.

I escaped for a moment away from the stove. :)

Not going so well for England at the moment, I might dig out my Italia T-shirt.

I like my rubgy too. I miss watching those nice French men at Sale Sharks. :( It's not the same without Chabal.

I will share my support for England and Italy, can't help myself.

yeah, and england won at Trafalgar in 1805.

i actually like and "support" the english team. and i d prefer they would not meet France.
"having said that", i don t recall an English victory over the frogs since Mundial 82, and based on last night performance, i would not put my money on a 10-0 win

damn right there. we might not make it through to the next round even. i can't believe the arrogance that lineker and co are coming out with before the algeria vs slovenia game. instituionalised racism almost. if one of these win, both usa and england should be worried.
