I was just about to list my 11 for the first game but I actually agree with Craig's selection.

I really like Glen Johnson, he'll be good alongside Jamie Carragher and, of course, he's got the potential to score a few ...

Do we know whether Barry is fully fit now?

Johnson might have scored a wonder goal, but so did John Barnes, and Johnson's defensive capabilities at this level are about as good as John Barnes. He will prove to be a liability.I hope he proves me wrong but i would go for Carragher at right back every time.

I saw him race at Thruxton & Oulton Park recently, he didn't do very well. :( I wanted his autograph but he was not in the pit lane for the autograph sessions. He is a character.

I suppose I should mention the football instead of hijacking the thread with biking talk.

I could admit that I have no idea who half the team are. I hope they are good.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I'm all set, HD box working so I can see every blade of grass, decent telly, ale in the fridge and anyone welcome round ours to go through the agony of the penalty shoot out, Rooney badly stubbing his toe on the corner flag, the annoying sound of the horns, the ridiculous goal celebrations.......bring it on!!!
