Aye Van Bommel has been seriously dirty - been rather impressed with the way he's avoided a sending off. Looking forward to the final. Hope both teams play the way they can. true, Germany were value alright, kind of felt sorry for Uruguay at the end though when Forlan hit the bar with the last kick, it was only for 3rd place but you could tell it meant something to em.

one of those games when extra time would have been welcomed. Thoroughly entertaining game and plenty of commitment, both sides a credit to football and their countries.

Yes, I really enjoyed the game too - it was great to watch such an open and entertaining match. I've often wondered about why they bother with the 3rd/4th place playoff but both teams were totally committed right to the end. It was a shame one of them had to lose.
