Didn't Grimsby fans used to wave inflatable fish about on the terraces many years ago? I remember the Man City bananas too.

not a great day no, especially playing against the 10 men of the scum for 32 minutes but I am still confident of us retaining the league title 3rd year running, just need a couple of those injuries to clear up and we'll be laughing, BTW congrats on the away win in the pre season friendly I am betting that must have been a proud moment for you all :D

Thanks for your sincere words there  and yes,it probably will be our finest moment this season, but a win at Celtic can do no harm.
Just read on a Blackburn forum that Paul Robinson got a big cheer from the Celtic fans for snubbing Capello. :*:

I'm not sure if there are any Blackpool supporters on here, but I'd
just like to wish them all the best for the coming season.

It's a fantastic story and some of the Premier League prima donna's
won't fancy going there.

In August 2003, West Ham, just relegated from the Premiership,
came to Rotherham, chucked their teddies out, and refused to use
the dressing rooms at the old Millmoor. Instead they got changed
at the hotel and came to the ground on the coach just before kick
off.

The West Ham team included David James and Jermain Defoe.

Rotherham won 1 - 0, and Glenn Roeder, the West Ham manager,
was sacked within 24 hours!

It will be very difficult for Blackpool, but all the best and good luck.

Have a good one.
