Saw your lot at Brisbane Road pre-season. Score was 6-1 to Orient. Newcastle are now back in the Prem and we narrowly missed relegation

Pre-season friendlies eh?!

That was a real wake up call for the club, Hughton made sure all them that didn't want to play for the club got shipped out and he kept and brought in grafters, also making sure some youth players come through, which is how it should be.

No offence to the Orient mind i'm sure they deserved the win.

I hope we don't sign this Dan Gosling, he seems to be another premier league mercenery we've had enough of those over the years.

We need more Andy Carrolls and Kevin Nolans.

No offence taken! I thought Orient were going to get a good stuffing. Most of the first team turned out and Newcastle were strolling around. Like you say there were one too many fancy Dans who weren't going to put in the effort.

After the match some of the Newcastle fans came into the club supporters bar for a pint and were really good sports about it.

Hughtons done a great job. Look forward to seeing how he gets on in the top flight.

We had Chris Hughton on the books at Brentford at the end of his career, a nice guy, real gent. We need more of his like in football these days.

Not a loyal fan by any means must be 20 years since I watched em, but my home team dropped out the football league last season.

An ardent Scunthorpe fan I new always called Grimsby Town "The Codheads". Never really understood if this was an official endearment or not? :D :fish:

Manchester United fan, hoping for a season that brings new owners, a domestic cup would be nice and to make it beyond the 1/4 finals of the CL. And if we're still challenging for honurs at the end of April I'll be happy.

So basically low expectations as always! :)
