end

"I could score at this level for many years and would love it to be at a top club like United. "
"Whether I would want to be dropping down to a poorer Premier League team, I don't know.

"Yes, I could score goals but I would probably get less opportunities and less enjoyment.
"I just don't feel my game is suited to a team that is really struggling. I won't drop down leagues."
Owen admits he would not go back to a struggling side having spent time at a crisis-stricken Newcastle before arriving at Old Trafford.

He added: "I have played in big teams before and played every game and I have played in a struggling team. I know which I prefer.

"I'm on my second stage of coaching badges and management is a real possibility," he said.

.....a cameo in snowhite and the 7 dwarves panto more like...

i am surprised geordies did not find a way (or another) to get their money back.
if you are going to get paid £75 fucking grands PER WEEK during 4 YEARS, , for being injured, warming up a bench and not scoring goals
the very least you can do is: not slagging off the very people and the club you ripped off and who paid for your wages.
this guy earned in 3 months sitting on his self sufficient arse what the average supporter (whose club is his pride and joy) will earn in a lifetime.

just kidnapp the fucker and get a gang of crack addicts on his arse.

More a case of love of the money - than love of the game - like most of the overpaid prima donnas.

Part of the reason that they are paid such obscene amounts is that we as ticket paying punters are still, even in these hard times, prepared to pay £50.00 to see a game of football, or worse, pay a monthly subscription to that Aussie charlatan Murdoch.
And all the time that these 'stars' are taking home ridiculous amounts of money grass roots football is dying on its feet through lack of funding. The English game is fucked IMHO.
