Just wondered if this was allowed! Am I the only person interested? Am I the only woman whose bothered??
The guys are playing up a storm in Adelaide! Cook's really found his batting form and Jimmy Anderson just gets better.

I'm bothered, very bothered........cricket is my second sport passion.
Because we are playing the convicts,i thought i'd wait a couple of days until we win before i post a very smug comment.
I hope i've not just jinxed us. :D
They are playing extremely well though.......Strauss a shoe in for a knighthood should we RETAIN the Ashes.

I'll second that...hope we havn't jinxed things! D'you think Strauss should declare now? He obviously wants to post a big first innings score then bowl out the Aussies cheaply. But how big is big? Is he waiting to let Bell join the party as he's been a bit out of form recently? Hmmmm. One things for sure, you never can tell with cricket. That's why I like it.

No way...........309 is nowhere near enough, bat until lunch or at least 450 ahead.Don't forget they have some world class batsmen who are very pissed off and would relish a run chase.

Well predicted... as you say the Aussies relish a fight back and shouldn't be taken for granted, ever.

Oh yes...it's a good day.I can't ever recall a performance against the Aussies as convincing as that.
Pity about Broad but that's not a bad side to come into for whoever replaces him.

Catch Bob Willis ranting on today about how terrible it is that Jimmy Anderson has jumped ship to be at home for the birth of his child.

My dad can't stand him, thinks he's a right miserable beggar - I agree, he never seems to crack a smile when he's on the telly.
