The board didn't even give him a full season in the Prem. Considering what he has done with the team, I think this is a disgrace...

I'm just pleased I got out of the town before the match ended. The town was heaving, you'd have thought it was a home game. I can imagine there'll be much disgruntlement about this.

Shameful. Typically classless Geordies.

Doubt if he would do it, he wouldn't take the risk.

They want someone with more experience supposedly. Best manager in the World wouldn't have got them anywhere much better than where they are at the minute all things considered. Unless they're planning on throwing shitloads of money at a new manager in January then something stinks.

Shearer would be a popular move from the fans point of view so could they create some sort of role for him? He wouldn't do it full time and not that I know shit from clay (popular classy Geordie expression) but he hasn't done anything remotely managerial since his temporary stint a while back has he.it's amazing how it lifts the atmosphere when the team are doing well. Or maybe I work with too many blokes

Shearer

he got his chance and did fuck all. he is ok as a pundit and that s it.

hughton was the man, i d say. humble and down to earth enough.

sacking him is as good a decision as appointing Dennis Wise 2 years ago.

the only one i can see who may save them would be Bruce, and that is not going to happen.

the more money they will throw in and the worse it's going to get.

they think they can emulate a tottenham.. it took the yids 25 years to do so and they want to do it in 5 months...
