No surprise that Paul Dickov has taken to football management. He was a hero at Blackburn,City and probably all the clubs he's played for.
Really happy for him and the Latics.

Carroll's hardly 'proven'! He might turn out to be a good buy, but far from a certainty i'd say. He's not even had a 'good' full season in the top flight yet.

As for Suarez being a goal machine, yes he's scored sackloads in Holland. But then so did Dirk Kuyt. And plenty before him. Afonso Alves anyone?

It's on Sunday. He'll not last five minutes in Glasgow!

fuck off LD, Dalglish knows jack all and is out of his depths.
that should show fairly soon.

I am with craig.
Mateza Kejman anyone?
Caroll...it s a toss up. in any case he will not be fit before 2 months.

I know where my money is for the next clash.

"Can you hear the drum fernannnnndoooooooooooo?..." :*:

back to the thread.

I think Arsene sumn it all (yet again) today.

Chelsky are announcin £70 millions loss in the morning and spend £75 in the afternoon. it s football doping.

Anyone can be the best buying the best around without any regard to economical balance.
That goes for any business.

in that precise case thats not about money.
Nando had enough playing with below average teammates.
now that rafa and the spanish contingent are gone, he cannot even have the banter in his lingo.
That plus the weather. i dont blame him. he is a world champion and he is languishing in bottom table. i find he has been very patient (although i know his performances have not been great, despite a good goal count).

not sure they got a better deal with caroll at £35millions.

Great result for Liverpool today.

Chelsea are 4th and Liverpool 6th now, not languishing at the bottom. :?
