My team Brentford are in the JPT cup final. A tin pot cup maybe but I don't care. Gonna enjoy it as long as we aren't piss poor. Any Carlisle supporters on here?

Great news SC.

I went in '96 to the old Wembley with Rotherham United. We beat
Shrewsbury 2 - 1 and it was a day to remember. :Hoorah

OK, it's not Champions League or FA Cup Final, but when it's your team
you've supported from being a boy it as good as any final.

Also went to the new Wembley last year for the Div 2 play offs......
.....lost to a set of ex motor industry workers from Dag & Red. :(

Have a fantastic day. ..>

Nice one SC - that's a long trip home for Carlisle if they lose. :*:

Been there twice with Oxford United. League Cup in '86 against QPR and Conference play off last year against York. 100% winning record I'm happy to add. :Hoorah

Can't remember too much about the celebrations later though. :BEEEER :BEEEER :shaking2:

You are so lucky to have 100% success at Wembley - we are the opposite 100% failure in my lifetime but I just have a feeling we might just do it this time.

Hope you have a great day SC.............I remember the first time i went to watch Blackburn at Wembley....1987 against Charlton in the Full Members cup final, another tin pot cup,but we took it very seriously.Thirty five thousand Blackburn fans in a very strange place....seven thousand Charlton fans who seemed like they couldn't be bothered(they were in the old first division,we were in the second),we beat them 3-1 to round off a great day.

Good luck - I remember when we beat you in Cardiff in the Autoglass final a few years ago - it must be your turn!

I remember that too, wasn't it the play off final? We had been on fire all season, got to the Millenium and forgot how to play! Last time we won at wembley the second world war broke out! I still blame Hitler for our Decline (well no-ones gonna stand up for him are they?).

Best of luck tomorrow. I went to the old Wembley once, years ago. Crewe lost to York in the playoffs. :(

I am a Bradford City fan for my sins. My Dad has a lifetime season ticket, i go with my boys, when I can afford it.
We were at Wembley in '96 if memory serves. That year, I asked my Dad what he wanted for his birthday and he asked for a peaked cap, when I asked why, he said 'Because from the stand we are in, the sun is in my eyes and I don't want to miss a thing next season!' we didn't last long in the premiership but my Dad was cock a hoop.
I remember going on holiday to Cornwall with a 'Bradford city in the premiership' sticker in my car. We went to the beach at Watergate Bay nr Padstow for the day and when we got back to the car there was a note tucked under my windscreen wiper, it was from a Sheffield fan and it said 'well done Bradford City, all the best'
Happy Days.

Shame about the result, at least your trip home is not as far.

I expected the coach to call in at services on the way back but they didn't stop at all. I was too shy to ask for a toilet stop so suffered in silence.
