My hubby is thrilled that his team Southport have drawn Sheffield Wednesday ..... he's thrilled they have actually managed to get this far at all but likes that they are playing a big club....... :*:

FA CUP.......Sheffield FC in the draw for the first round.....Fantastic!

Good luck in the replay and hope they get to play Carlisle.

The mighty Millers have drawn York City. Should be a good game, history
between the two clubs. :elephant: Random!!

What a cracking start to the 1st round - FC United of Manchester beating Rochdale - 95 places above them - with a highly dodgy 94th minute goal. Let's hope that there isn't a repeat at Dartford, tomorrow....

So early?

They still had 4 minutes of Fergie Time left.

Would love them to draw MUFC [or MCFC] in the new year.

FC United fans were amazing last night, the atmosphere sounded great on the tv,it must have been electric in the ground. They must have a chant/song writing team to come up with all the original stuff, anyone hear that version of "Anarchy In The UK".
What an advert for the club, proper Manchester people,i bet they pick up loads more MUFC fans who watched that.(and probably a few MCFC fans as well, the way that club is going)

Didn't see the game but what a result and what a fantastic story,
Roy of the Rovers stuff, especially if they get to the 3rd round and
draw United at Old Trafford............Priceless!!

You left it late efsb, thought you were on your way out

The Millers hardly set the competiton alight with a 0-0 draw at home
to York. :?

Englebert Humperdink is on the pitch doing the half time fans draw at the Leicester city game, he has more make up on than Bet Lynch in her heyday !

some interesting draws in the 4th round, good game between man Utd and Liverpool today, hmmm Howard Webb though ?

Yeah, it was an interesting decision by Fergie to replace the injured Wayne Rooney with Howard Webb. It worked though.

:*: :*: :*: very good. no peno but I'm a bit undeceided on the red card, the tackle looks pretty bad from some angles although he probably could have been given the benefit of a yellow saying that.

Should never have been a red. It's getting ridiculous now with the supposed 'dangerous' tackles they've been clamping down on for the last few years. I'd love to see the statistics for the shocking rise in leg breaks and serious leg injuries that caused the FA to do it... Newcastle lad was unlucky yesterday too. He actually hooked the ball backwards, didn't even go through it!

You can if you're called Rafael according to Howard Webb.

It's a physical contact sport. Or at least it used to be.
