After the fascist I even see the Brolly Man in a fresh light, not ideal but not Di Canio...and of course his facility for languages is renowned. For now it is Kevin Ball's Red and White Army, a semi deity at Sunderland so here's hoping....

Am astonished that Kean hasn't been linked, tip top and with the sure recommendation of Fat Sam and all at Blackburnius!

Poor Helen having to a picture of Gross...that'll just drive her away

What with Mr Tumble in a corset, shagging a Range Rover and some inexplicable picture of a man with pubes for a moustache, I've learnt not to be easily offended. Xx

An Italian speaker who'll be cheap and has managerial experience?

Gus Poyet's red and white army. . . Hmmm, I feel numb really. Have had the two people I wanted Mick McCarthy who did well with impossible resources and Martin O'Neill who just well, I am still in mourning. Poyet might work and he has the immeasurable benefit of not being the little shit Di Canio. We've had worse and Poyet is untried at this level so fingers crossed

His Championship experience might come in handy soon though.

I'd love to see Mick get a shot with a team with even something resembling a budget. In the modern game he stands out as a very classy guy, honest to a fault and a good man manager who has got so much more then he was ever entitled to out of some very limited teams resource and talent wise. You won't hear a bad word from any player who played under him unless their initials are RK.

As good a shout as any for the new ROI job.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Bastard

Eoin I love Mad Mick and he is the most honest and decent man. Always fronts up and always tries to play football. FAI treated him shamefully. More of a man than RK will ever be.

I have to say that when looking at the two managers at Hillsborough on Saturday I really wished Mick McCarthy was in our dugout instead of Dave up his own arse Jones.

This is a handy thread title, gets regular revcyvling...Gustavo proved rather childish in the end now we have a grumpy old man and with my Celic allegiance an unwelcome connection with Rangers. Hoping he can make the difference though worried he nay do as well as the pathetoic Sgt Wilko. Anyway, it all starts again at the end of the season

Fuck, after a lull of four months, someone's finally interested in football! Look at it this way, at least he's not a Nazi...x

And the players will be nicely attuned to the Dutch accent for next season...

Hmm...Rangers are tantamount to...well, let's just say they attract a rather rabid right wing support...not saying Dickie is but it doesn't sit comfortably with me.

I feel my interest in football waning ion a daily basis but it's like the gargle, won't let me go. Up for the Wear/Tyne Derby for the first time in a wee while.. I pick my moments
