There's no place for tackles like that in the game, Arsenal having to bully a superior Birmingham team out of the game!

I do hope that Wenger bans Chamakh for diving and Eboue & Wilshere for 10 games each!

Absolute disgrace!

I'd stick to music if I were you mate - you know nothing about football. I bet you weren't even at the game! If you had been, you'd have seen an Arsenal side totally dominate a poor Brum side and as for Wilshere, well it was a badly mistimed tackle and he got what he deserved. The way yer goalie Foster behaved and how that animal named Bowyer tried to get others sent off, Brum got what they deserved as well - nothing. :*:

Nice to hear from you Jack.
Your right i wasn't at the game (as i'm a Blackburn fan living in Yorkshire) and if you read this forum regularly you would know that my post was a firmly tongue in cheek dig at Arsene's ranting about how his team are always the victims cheats of anti football thugs.

Aye, well, I rose to yer bait Dickie.... agree that we've got double standards at Arsenal sometimes, but he's trying to play football as it should be - on the deck, one touch, pass and move etc, etc. Lesser teams can't match that skill so they resort to physical - I just wish The Arse could show a real nasty side to our game sometimes. We need a Souness, a Jimmy Case, or, dare I say, a David Batty!

Now, have you ever seen Hawley play football?

Fair play to you Jock.
Being a Blackburn fan,we(the club) have been on the receiving end of many a Wenger rant and it just seemed appropriate to have a little dig back.
Here's a real rant,what do you think?.....
It seems Arsenal have gone from being the team most celebrated by neutrals to one of the more disliked clubs in a very short space of time.
Wenger's 'better than you' attitude has done a remarkable job of seeing to this.
How long can he continue to blame everyone else for the fact that you're not winning anything. The problem he has is when the likes of West Brom beat you at the Emirates he cant accuse them of negative play, aggressive play, long ball, dirty play, over physical play and must immediately create cover stories to deflect attention. His excuses are becoming like a stuck record.

He has clearly been one of the greatest managers ever in English Football but i think his time is up.
Am i right or would you give him more time to realise he needs a Case or a Batty.I don't think he would entertain this kind of player but i'm sure if you had a couple, you would have got the points on the road that would have seen more silverware.

As for Hawley playing football....i've never seen him,but i once saw Crawley play.

He never had a problem with Vieira.

Strange isn't it that when he arrived in this country he invested in a similar type of player to the ones he inherited, presumably believing that you need that type of player to win the Prem.
It worked.

LD... i am pretty sure you are having wet dreams about Arsene.

now you are right, but somehow he tried to get the balance right in that respect but has not been help with injuries. Diaby, although a little thiner was brought in and groomed to take viera's succession. Vermalen is not exatcly a choir boy.

but i admit, sometimes arsenal looks a little like snow white and the eleven dwarves.

we should be thankful for that; he is one of the very few men left in quest of beautiful football.
as much as arsenal are sometimes disapointing, they are unpredictable and that is exciting.

and AGAIN, he is running a viable business and not cheating like 90% of premier league clubs, IE spending more than he earns.
which in today's capitalistic world and economic values is really strange.

and that, more thzn dirty tackles , is the real rant & debate.
if clubs were forced to have balanced accounts, arsenal would win EVERY silverware year in year out.

As you guessed,i do have a massive downer on Mr Whinger as i hold him responsible for ripping the heart out of the English game by fielding the first all foreign team in the Prem.

You're right on that point and i hope your fellow Frenchie Platini will sort the situation out. However Arsenal are still £300 million in debt and how long will they keep on pulling in the london middle class willing to pay over £1000 for a season ticket to watch a pretty but unsuccessful side?

You would think, considering Arsenal's only hope of European qualification being via winning the Fair Play League, that Arsene would be unhappy with their disciplinary record this season. :P
