Would you like your own club to be run like Bilbao.

The club is owned and run by the fans, with no debt.
Nearly all the first team players are either from the Basque regions of Spain & France or have relatives from this region.
Has an excellent reputation of promoting home grown players, who play a great mix of English style attacking football with Spanish flair.
Plus, they are one of only three clubs (the others being Barcelona and Real) to never be relegated.

I know i would.

Yes, Athletic's debt is one of the smallest in the Spanish league, but the most important part of it is that, even if there is a debt, they're always able to pay in time. As for its having virtually no non-Basque player, that's something related to their separatist views, but anyway I think it's something that should be more common everywhere.

Just a bit of folklore relating this club and a couple of English clubs: the Athletic Club originally dressed in blue and white halved jerseys which they used to buy from Blackburn Rovers, and blue knickers. Around 1910 (I don't know the exact date), the person who travelled to England to buy new jerseys couldn't find them, and he ended up buying some from Southampton FC, just before boarding his ship. Half of the jerseys remained in Bilbao, and the rest went to their subsidiary club, Atl├ętico de Madrid ( :Hoorah ). Afterwards, Athletic Club de Bilbao decided to stick to the whole Southampton kit, while Atl├ętico retained their original blue knickers instead of changing them to black.
