Chelsea is probably the most boringingly posh part of London. There's nothing interesting there at all. It's just mansions. I don't know if any locals actually support the team. Think they prefer polo.

Chelsea supporters are called "plastics" down in this neck of the woods i.e. they're not the real thing. Most of them live in Reading anyway.

Several of the players were in the gym opposite our offices this morning, loads of flash cars parked down the street. Saw one getting out of his car and suspect he was little disappointed as I obviously didn't have a clue who he was.

RP - our offices are in Chelsea, we're sandwiched between a local authority block (which is actually quite attractive), an ancient BT exchange and the rather out of my reach fashion shops. Some good pubs though.

That's obviously the happening part of Chelsea! Maybe it's Kensington I'm thinking of.

I was walking round there about ten years ago and in the same day saw Tony Adams and George Best, both unshaven and hungover looking. They looked like tramps!

I haven't got a local team myself, unless you count Millwall. Which I don't.

Well my bet @ 1,000,000 to 1 with an Asian gambling consortium that Gomez would miss three chances in the first 45 minutes was worthwhile.

Was happy the won the Champions League. Good for them. Maybe that will inspire the England team?

I'm glad they won rather than Bayern, but would not normally support them. I have not given much thought to the the Euro championship this Summer. It seems to be lost in the hype of the Olympics and the Jubillee. A bit of sunshine would be nice, I'm not bothered about the rest.
