Well it was a draw at Derby that felt like a win. Dire first half but much better in the second half. Pride Park was very hot and 6000 sweaty Owls' fans bouncing made it even steamier! Great atmosphere. Onwards and upwards. Up the Owls!

I am loving being back at Hillsborough. It might be some sort of tribal thing - I don't know - but it feels like being at home (well it is being at home as a Wednesday fan but I mean home home). Great atmosphere and a good game on Saturday. JJ is on fire!

I absolutely loved it Tuesday and Saturday it's a different world at Hillsborough I think this season is going to be well worth the effort for all the fans if Wednesday keep playing like this it's as nail biting as usual but so great to watch actual football it's really open free flowing football and as you say JJ is on fire, the addition of Rodri seems to have given JJ a sparring partner he never had before and his playing is blooming.....however it's a loooooonnnnggg way to go yet.....up the owls

Oh yes very true - mustn't get carried away. Been a Wednesday fan for too long and felt the pain too many times but last season and the start of this has been something else. Saw them beat Fulham last night and they have confidence which has been lacking before. It is also good that players can be rested such as JJ and they still look strong. Antonio hasn't quite found last season's form but there's plenty of time. Onwards and upwards - top end of mid-table would suit me.

Well I said to myself I'll be happy with mid table and build from there but after seeing them play plus stuff fulham I might risk a little dream here and there <*>

Well the good run had to end sometime. Never mind. We can't win every game and it was away. Let's keep to mid table hopes and dare to dream a little later in the season if we're looking good. Up the Owls!

I will be there on Wednesday night so will be able to see how the new players are working together. It's early in the season. The brilliant season last year has made my expectations too high. Slow and steady......

Not good I'm afraid. Referee and his assistants were shocking and didn't allow the game to flow but we were poor. Strange team selection. There seemed no strong core. Defence were all over the place, attempts on goal were weak, we can't take corners. Pretty shite really. Didn't enjoy it at all. Not impressed by Martin Taylor. It is going to be a long season.

I don't want to be negative so I won't say much but I am not sure why some of our best players that helped us get promotion are being left out or on the bench. Semedo, Llera, O'Grady, Reda Johnson, Medine, Lines. I know there are new players that have been brought in but at the moment some look less than ready. New players have to gel but surely the changes could be more gradual. It's early in the season and we must be patient but I hope the team doesn't lose the confidence and spirit they had last season and started with this season. I don't agree with fans booing their own players though. It was sad to hear that today when Bothroyd went off to be substituted. We must always get behind the team. Up the Owls.
