Sounds like something's not right! You should be able to rip the contents of CD1 in no more than about 3-4mins. Writing the data back to an audio CD copy should be even shorter

Are you using a BBC Micro with a tape drive? :D

I'm not, but I think the computer has pretensions to it! :shock: :*:

But anyhow its imported now for my ipod - and tonight I will reimport (not usinig Itunes this time) for production of copies - should be a lot quicker I hope!

Worked fine for me, but sometimes iTunes does start to import at impossibly slow speeds, could depend on what else the PC is doing at the time though.

I used Roxio to do exact copies of the original CDs you sent and it took less than 15 minutes to produce 5 copies of each of the CDs.

I shall be posting the disks for my people tomorrow (except for those in the USA and Japan which may have to wait till Saturday dependent on the queue in the Post Office tomorrow lunchtime!!)
