Don't know if this has been noted by anyone, but in the latest issue of Word Magazine ( Kate Bush on cover) there is a double page photo of The Devils Arse gig looking out towards the audience, so the Hawley ladies on the front row, you are now famous!! Not much of a write up but does mention Mum & Auntie Jean :)

It's not out in most stores until tomorrow apparently so I'll have to be patient.

Is there a young Hawley in the front row with us?

That muff was a very expensive hand-sewn piece of retro clothing I'll have you know! :*:

Its just as well then, as it will be laying on every Muso's coffee table for a few weeks. It was a very fine muff i have to say, from where we were stood above the stage at the gig it did catch me eye & was a bit envious as i had boring gloves on, would not have gone with what i was wearing tho.

Yes I was very warm and cosy unlike some of the people that seemed a bit ill-prepared that I saw! :?

Fancy standing above the stage - you would only have a got a back view there?

Looking down at the stage was good, as it wasn't that high it was only a few feet down to the stage we had a good view of the set lists & the acoustics were still great, plus the added bonus of been a few feet nearer the bog, having been caning it a bit on the old wine & a big dinner in the afternoon i was a bit cautious of needing to answer the call of nature in a hurry. As for the attire i had too many thermal layers on & had a bit of a hot flush in the castle Pub, so spent most of the night outside. Ruined a good pair of Uggs in the rain tho :(

It was back and side. Moved there after standing on a chair and it was a big improvement! Pretty good actually.
