Elbow's Abbey Road concert, recorded on Saturday for the BBC, is being released on CD/DVD via the Elbow website.

Check out:
http://www.elbow.co.uk/

It's also being broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on 31st January, and will be available to watch via the red button. Yay!

I hope we get to see the band singing Richard 'Happy Birthday' :)

Dave

This is available to preorder now, £20 + £1.18 p&p (strictly limited edition apparently!).

It comes in a Clamshell Box with a CD of the show in a card wallet, a DVD of the performance, 4 commemorative photo postcards of the event and a 16 page booklet.

http://www.elbow.co.uk/

The concert is on BBC Radio 2 tonight 9-10pm, and will be available to watch via the red button after midnight :D

Brilliant concert :D That guy who comes on in the middle with a red guitar is pretty good, I can see potential in him :*:

I watched it a couple of times last night and again today, it is brilliant. The choir really look like they are enjoying being there, not just singing as that's what they are being paid to do, if you see what I mean. :?

That studio is huge isn't it. I find it all rather fascinating. I was once fortunate enough to visit Lansdowne recording studios in London. I loved that 'dead' atmosphere when we walked into the actual studio.

I had a bit of a listen on line before I was rudely interrupted by a teenager "needing" the computer (I gave birth to him so I have to give in to him! - new mothers do NOT follow suit!!)....
so I ordered the CD - looking forward to hearing it properly. It sounded awesome!
