well ive succumbed and got tickets - summat to look forward to.

heard the new album a few times too - early doors but its very good indeed - lots of upbeat rocky blues stuff and some very nice ballads. great stuff.

So, Dylan at the SECC in Glasgow last night. The sound was great, given that the SECC is huge and we were waaaaay back! It was my first Dylan gig, so had no idea what to expect. No big screens, no banter between the songs save an introduction to the band just before the end, and only a slight acknowledgement that the crowd was actually present! But, we can forgive him as the gig was fantastic.

Sean (beloved) is off tonight to see him again at the Edinburgh Playhouse - a more intimate gig, so I shall be interested to see how he compares it to the SECC.
