Hope you'll give Leicester another chance, Richard. Anyone who isn't enthusiastic, I will personally poke with a sharp stick :*:

Any low key warm up gigs?

Craig's back yard / by the kettle in Dave's office - perhaps?

Is it worth hiring our own tour bus so that we can follow Richard from gig to gig? I'm sure that he'ed really appreciate that.

Followers of Ian Hunter from Glasgow formed the IHTA [ Tartan Army] hired a bus and followed his tour a few years back...

Now that must be scarier[?] than the front row ladies - half a dozen crazed Glaswegians trying to get in on your sound check...

They actually became 'tour mates' with the crew and band - one of them a couple of years later put forward a suggestion that Ian got back together with the original members of Mott The Hoople to do a show -and they are now doing five nights in London this October...

Nice eh? - but this is the one I'd go for...

Anyway I'm shutting up as I've got into bother banging on about buses before

Following Hawley's recent penchant for unusual gigs I have a leaked copy of the forthcoming tour schedule so far confirmed......

September
8th - The Giants Causeway - Northern Ireland
10th - The 'Big One' - Blackpool Pleasure Beach
12th - The Penis of the Cerne Abbas Giant - Dorset
15th - Endcliffe Park Playground - Sheffield
27th - Armitage Shanks Lavatory Factory - Staffordshire

October
3rd - A field near Matlock - Derbyshire
8th - Dunbar Oil rig - North Sea
11th - Ilkley Moor Bah Tat - Yorkshire

Tickets will go on sale soon and will be limited to 2 and a half per person. A valid certificate of Sheffieldness number must be given when booking tickets.
