Yup - I ordered via See - enquired where the tix were a few days ago and the email response said they will be issued before 29/09/09 - if not received at this point contact See again - presumably to be told to pick them up from the Box Office...

That's what you pay all those fees for...

Best one yet - had a message from a mate regarding the same issue - different band / different venue - he was told his tix would be issued by 02/10/2009 - the date of the gig? - 01/10/2009 :*:

It's no big deal I suppose - sad bugger that I am I just like looking at the tix stuffed around my hallway mirror for a few weeks before going to a show...

Why on earth are they leaving it so late to post them - particularly as there is a threatened national post strike looming.

Surely it is in their interest to get their tickets out as soon as they have them to hand. Customer satisfied and will not be phoning to see where the tickets are.

My first encounter with Seetickets was in 2005 and I was told the tickets I was being sent were souvenir tickets so I assumed they would be special ones - nope, exactly the same as the ones every ticket agency sends out. For that I paid about 6.95 postage and had to wait till 3 days before the gig for them to arrive.

Aye - they're crap - but on the day the tickets went on sale the Manchester Bridgwater website imploded [or was it just me] - so I went to See...

Should have phoned the box office - or sent my request and monies with an SAE - eeee those were the days...

Never mind - album next week - gigs not long after - so I'm happy :D

In the same boat here.

Same thing happened before with See, although they came through in the end.

Might be worth contacting them and asking what they plan to do in the event of a national post strike. Ballot papers are on their way to all postal workers and there are still strikes in various areas of the country most days.

Still waiting for mine. I ordered tickets from see previously, and was still waiting 48 hours before gig. And i had to travel down to London for gig, so if they hadn't come in time I would have been screwed to put it bluntly. Hope the same doesn't happen here.

Told me the tickets were printed and posted out to me on Friday 25th Sep, but if i don't receive them 72 hours before gig to let them know and there will be duplicate tickets left at the box office for me.

Doors open @ 7.00 - I can't see it kicking off before 7.30 or 8.00.

I'd get there early - the box office will be open - bag your tickets - and get down the pub...

Looks like me and few hundred others will be doing the same for Mott the Hoople next Tuesday...

Ticket agencies are just crap.
