The Tory tossers are having a get-together in Manchester this week and I have had the following email from the venue:

Urgent Traffic and Parking Info

Dear Patron

We are contacting you regarding traffic and parking arrangements in force due to the Conservative Party Conference taking place at Manchester Central, as detailed below. When travelling to concerts at The Bridgewater Hall during this period, please allow plenty of time for your journey and parking.

Parking

NCP Manchester Central Car Park (formerly G-Mex) will be closed from Friday 2 October until Thursday 8 October inclusive. Bridgewater Hall patrons can use NCP Great Northern or NCP Oxford Road car parks as an alternative. You can validate your parking ticket for these car parks at the Hall as normal.

Park Avenue car park will be open as normal for those with pre-paid vouchers.

Road Closures

Lower Mosley Street will be closed to all traffic from Thursday 1 October until Thursday 8 October. During this time, the drop off and pick up point for The Bridgewater Hall will be at the rear of the Hall on Great Bridgewater Street, near the junction with Lower Mosley Street. Greater Manchester Police will be on duty to manage traffic in this area.

Further information on traffic and travel in the city during this period can be found on Manchester City Co's website at www.cityco.com.

Aye - the whole of Truelove's Gutter - loved it :)

Dean playing the drums for Remorse Code [?] with his hands was a revelation - if he had used his feet I would have been really impressed tho'...

Jeez - I've just realised I missed Hotel Room - I can't remember it - and I only had two pints before the show

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.
