Just back from gig. Thought it was great, new songs sounded fantastic. It really did feel like a unified 'performance' rather than just a set of songs. Hope the guys enjoyed the gig, as Richard said, they don't play Wales very often. Most people just play Cardiff, so it is appreciated when people make the effort to come down this way.

Richard endeared himself to the crowd even more by telling us that his missus' is Welsh! Don't be a stranger Richie boyo!

A really great show. Mix of songs was perfect although I have played Trueloves Gutter to death so they don't sound that new any more. Crowd was very appreciative and songs from the new album got a great reception. Richard you promised to return to Wales soon so don't let us down.

Hope the finger recovers...dip it in some ice cream.

Love the Smoke Fairies - could have done with hearing a few more from them.

I think it was after Soldier On and the very loud bit with extended guitar solo that I saw him really wince and shake his finger. I was wincing as well, I was sat right in front of the speakers, supposed to be third row and then the first two rows who had their heads almost in the cones legged it leaving me to take the full force  . Rest of the gig was at a more bearable volume though.

And grace is just the measure of a fall.
