Obviously new album will form the backbone and if RH wants to keep his own back catalogue to a minimum then that's up to him and fine by me.
Perhaps he'll be able to satisfy the baying masses with a selection of interesting covers maybe doing just one each night but from a selection of half a dozen or so, all of which get an airing somewhere on the tour?
A classic Hank Williams or Johnny Cash number will always go down well :P

I know I have said it before but I just love Time Has Made A Change. I think its one of Richard most underated songs. Its one that dosen't get enough mentions on this forum. I think it would make a get opener or great encore song. I've never heard this song played live but I think it would really work well live. Does anyone else out there feel passionate about this song? I think its the tremolo guitars at the start I love but also the way it changes in the middle eight. " Your young and you should make light of it". Just beautiful the way it changes.

there is a good version of that song on the Live In France Bootleg that still might be knocking around the downloads section.

In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I'd love to hear that Eoin. Thanks a million. I'll try to find it.

I'm going to be predictable and ask for "Baby, You're My Light" in Sheffield please, my favourite Hawley song but I haven't heard it live since the Leadmill in 2005 I think.

Given the nature of the new album, I wonder how easy/difficult it will be to include previous material, whilst not detracting from the way the new tracks are designed to flow together.

I second that. 'Baby You're My Light' was the first Hawley track I ever heard and I was hooked. I makes me tingle every time I hear it.

Well, I think I would die if they play "The Sun Refused To Shine" which is one of my all-time fave RH songs. So they'd better not play it because I'm not ready to die yet.
On the other hand, it's not a bad way to go - listening to your fave song. So, he'd better play it.
Sad attempts to humour aside, I will be pretty happy to hear anything and everything. New stuff is intriguing !

Personally, I would love to hear the new album plus 'Coles Corner' and 'The Ocean' and anything else Richard chooses to play! :D :D :D
