Perhaps you need to re-jig your setlist and include early on that one that didn't make the final cut on the album. You know, Shut the Fuck Up For a Minute You Ignorant, Full-of-Yourself Cocks

I've really enjoyed the Electric Proms this year.

I thought Richard played really well. I wasn't aware he wasn't feeling very well. I thought it sounded blinding. The new songs live sound incredible. A good mix of old and new as well.

Magazine were also excellent, but I did feel they lacked a second guitar, in the solo parts.

Howard Devoto has still very much got it.

So Boss, can we have a Richard Hawley/James Dean Bradfield collaboration please?

Dave

Seconded!

Glad you got on well with Bradders, he's a gent, met him a few times. [Incidentally, hello Black Dog!]

always though James Dean Bradfield could do a fantastic rock 'n' roll covers album...sure he's got it in him somewhere!! Manics have covered Elvis tunes in the past.

I loved the version of Diamonds are Forever he did with David McAlmont.

My Mum remembered that my Dad saw Shirley Bassey when she was 16, at the Palace theatre in Leicester. My Grandmother worked there & I have her autograph book. Must check if Shirley is in there.

Persuaded the folks at work to watch on the red button. They had to admit they enjoyed it :D

Hello! I'm new to the forum! Just wanted to say thanks to Richard for his lovely comments about my music hero James Dean Bradfield! :D I really enjoyed all of Dame Shirleys set and everyone made it a great show. Sorry that the crowd was so static for you all! :( Anyway, I may have to check out some of your records now Mr Hawley at some point. I've got a bit of a list of CD's that I want to get!

I just thought they were being a bit static for Shirley herself. Nevermind anyone else! :D Ah well, I'm too used to bouncing around at gigs. Shouldn't expect such energy from an older audience. They all seemed happy and were cheering so that's the main thing!
