After much fruitless rapping on windows and kicking of doors I eventfully found the fire escape at the back via the graveyard, and some freaked out strangers on the top floor kindly allowed us to enter through their room..I can laugh about it now :)

The Peak District is my new favourite place in the world

Good one - it looks like most of the performance shots were done before the audience came in - the boat idea is interesting - folk/cajun band The Boat Band have dome something similar around Scotland in the past, so it's possible....!!

That would be a very interesting gig from reading on here what some forum members are like!!! I have been on these 'cruises' before......end up messy!(fun though)

Shame I couldn’t hang about and meet up with some forum members after the show. It looked like you all had a very good time. I didn’t have a hotel booked so had to go home and due to the poor weather I thought it was best to shoot straight off...HOWEVER, don’t ever trust a SatNav. Mansfield is about 45 minutes away tops on a bad drive.....was a lot longer on Friday!..........Tomtom may well have been taking me the frost free way!

Great gig and looking forward to next one.

Merry Christmas

PS......BBC can't spell.

Do we get a berth on the boat if we want to go to all of the gigs then or will we just be towed behind and into port each time? :*:

The idea of a floating gig venue is FANTASTIC! Are you planning to be a stowaway Julie? Can you swim ....... or better still, you could waterski behind! And Dave could be the salty pirate, and Eoin could be captain hook .....
