Got the e-mail, ace I wasn't sure Richard was actually playing. Is anyone meeting up anywhere I am still trying to convince someone that they want to go to this :)

I've just had a text from the BBC reminding me that the show is tomorrow - as if I could possibly forget....... its 4 whole months since I last saw Richard playing live and I'm not missing this for anything! :*:

I was going to suggest 'Palace', but as I'm going tonight I don't want to take the risk of being chucked out.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeey! Had a great time tonight at The Verb, even though we had to almost strip off to get in!! belts, watches - all off - my fella found four hair clips in his pocket ??? says he doesn't know where they came from  ???

Richard and Shez were brilliant as usual, the songs were great - really glad I managed to get tickets! Simon Armitage seemed like a nice bloke and his poems were funny and harrowing - I am intrigued so will get the book. Ian McMillan was a great compere and I'll bet he is a right laugh.

Thank you Richard for signing my word and shaking my hand - you made my night - what a lovely bloke! :D :D :D

Just back - a really lovely evening!

Ian McMillan is absolutely lovely, a brilliant host, and judging from the looks passing between them shares the same sense of humour as Richard! :D

A thoroughly entertaining show - even Richard got to say more than a few words which was a nice surprise. I did feel for him and Shez though as they had to sit on stage for the whole programme - they did have a good view of all the proceedings though!

Two gorgeous acoustic renditions of For Your Lover Give Some Time, and The Streets are Ours. The applause went on for so long after Streets that the programme had ended by the time it went quiet though! :*:

I had two of my words picked out and printed - Serendipity and Emporium - got Ian to sign one and Richard kindly signed both - Richard got mobbed at the end of the programme, so much so that the audience for the next programme were halfway in before we'd even started to make our way out!

Lovely to catch up with Eeezer and Suzanne again, looking forward to the next full gig and more beautiful music!

:D :D :D :D :D

First time I've been to a BBC show and I thought the whole thing was just excellent - barring the near airport style search just to get in the place. I'm pretty sure Richard and Shez enjoyed it - it certainly looked as if they did. I just hope that the BBC can continue making programmes like this.
