The Ocean is on the link I put on the downloads section this morning.

I'll see if I can find a live Oh My Love to mail to you.

What a fantastic show on friday at Bridlingtom Spa. I've never heard you play 'Oh My Love' better than that. It was brilliant. Norma Waterson and Eliza Carthy were wonderful as well. On a different tack I've just got The Crookes new EP 'Dreams Of Another Day' and I think that their cover of 'Born under A Bad Sign' is simply stunning. George Waite and the rest of the band have done your song so beautifully and differently. The rest of the EP is great too. Going to see them in Leeds on 11th December.

We really really enjoyed Friday night at the Musicport. Richard and the band made the 4 hour journey worth every minute in the jams through Hull. So loved Norma and Eliza too.
It was great to meet you and Alex , Bradford Lass and you and Paul Mandy. Sorry I didn't get to meet you Lady Ruff Diamond.
I feel refreshed now. Had my little fix of live Hawley. :D Hope the next one isn't too long. We read something about the last gig for a year. I thought it was of the year. Please tell me I am right.

I'm sure what I read was last gig of the year, except we now know it won't be as there will be the Glenfiddich competition to enter - somewhere in London in December is all we know. Register your interest on the Glenfiddich site (links in the thread about it).

Sorry to miss you too Jane! Set off late due to other half getting stuck in traffic on way home from Sheffield, usual disorganised mad rush...
Hopefully, another time...

I'm finally back home after a splendid weekend. The Imagined Village (featuring Martin & Eliza Carthy amongst others) were the top turn on Sunday night and were amazing.

It was lovely to meet some of the forum folks at Musicport, thank you for being so chummy :) and thanks to MrH & Co for a brilliant Friday night gig.
