I had to laugh, when i first read this i thought you said 'minging' :*:
I was going to say, a tad harsh townybags !! I saw quite a bit of it and i thought most of the other stuff on there was shite...one of the worst "later's" that i've see... the bit with richard and jarvis was when jools was having a chat with Duane Eddy and they mentioned the up and coming gigs .. but then i went to bed and missed the end - there might be some stuff on the extended show on Friday?

Minging is such a good word. I have a scouse friend who uses the word minty in the same context, which is weird, but still good. x

caught a bit of later with jools, as far as i know, jools just mentioned their gigging with duane eddy, and the camera panned to their besuited selves  :*: and that was it. unlike janelle monae they were definitely not boogei ing to that rather large man in the pink suit( although he did have a brilliant voice!!! :)

I was tipped off because someone tweeted they were there and Denise posted it on facebook. They interviewed Duane Eddy he talked about playing onstage with Richard and said they were definitely heading into the recording studio :) the camera then panned to Richard and Jarvis, Jools then I thought cut the interview abruptly 'anyway we're live, time to move on' and that was that

If memory serves he said Eddy would be playing in the extended showon Friday, I got the impression he meant with Richard but it was all over so quick, the rest of the show did nothing for me either. You can watch it here.

I dozed off and other half woke me up to tell me Richard was on Jools- I thought he was winding me up cos I've been waiting to see Richard on Jools for ages...(Maybe Friday?) I then watched back a bit of it on sky+ and saw the man in the pink suit and commented what a great voice - can't believe he is Gnarls Barclay voice - love that song Crazy! I was trying to work out if he was a midget or whether the suit was all strangely proportioned to make him look like a midget.

Yes, I thought it was a good one too - loved the Steve Miller Band, Jim Jones and CW Stoneking ..
