Is anyone else, like me, hoping that Richard releases the new album before Christmas time to coincide with a Christmas gig :)
Wouldn't that be something :?: If only...

That's the beauty of this forum - straight answers.

Here's to the new record and tour dates whenever they may be.

Lofty / Guardian 69 we can have that malt at OR8 III...

once i've finished this record you'll be sick of the sight of me,i am really enjoying NOT playing much, although i have done some live stuff, weller,Elbow,Pulp and Duane Eddy its the longest period of time i have had at home for 17 years, since my daughter was born in fact....to put that in perspective she was born on the first date of the Pulp lipgloss tour with the Longpigs supporting in 1993 which is another universe from here.........i am feeling refreshed and ready for the next stage in my life.........just hope everyone will still be interested in the music after such a long absence :roll:i have also found a cure for my suspected arthritis in my left hand,it was looking like i might have to retire as the pain was so horrendous i just couldn't play.........it is triggered.......by wait for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomatoes ..............i haven't eaten one for three months and i have NO pain,it is also triggered by red wine, cigs, potato's and fucking aubergines .....i can live without the humble aubergine but life without fags, ale and chips is unthinkable..........so the tomato's have gone.......ah shame.....i love me pasta me

Don't worry, we won't forget you. I look forward to hearing the new record.

It's good to know what causes the pain, how strange that so many of them are the colour red! Good luck with keeping off the causes of the pain. You could try a carbonara sauce with your pasta, a poor substitute for a good bolognese though.

Vegetable abuse :geek:

I developed an allergy at the age of 45 - eating tomatoes and / or pepper resulted in huge inflamation / boils / cysts developing all over - including in my throat - ended my career as an international male model - though opened a new career in porn - still crap at twanging me six string razor though...

A couple of pills a day sorted it out.

Look out for the fallen arches...

Have something similar with my kids. Eldest isn't allergic to tomatoes but he hates them with passion, unless they are undercover tomatoes. But my youngest could live on pasta, for breakfast, dinner and tea so I've had to do compromise. At the risk of turning into the forum's resident Delia, I roast red peppers with sea salt and olive oil and whizz them in the blender and that does 'tomato' sauce for pasta.
Also, the pasta thing that does both of them is fry spring onions, garlic and smoked salmon, add a tub of creme fraiche, put over pasta. Takes ten minutes and suits both. That is the domestic news for the day done... x
