Just got an e-mail re the new album and gig in York, rang the venue in York and it was sold out before the staff even got to work, can't afford to go to London.
Managed to order a signed album and can't wait to hear it.
Hope you come to the North East.
All the best Simon.

The Pocklington one sold out really quickly but it is a very small venue. It sold out before it was advertised on the RH official website/ notification email. I am hoping for some more announcements soon (on here before anywhere else hopefully). Sheffield would be great but anywhere North would be good.

I know it's a radical marketing strategy, but i've heard on the grapevine that it's definite that an artist associated with a major label who would ordinarily play at least 7 or 8 dates in 1000ish capacity venues is only going to bother playing one London gig and a 200 capacity village shed besides the odd festival date in support of a brand new album.

I have no idea what you're on about.

But know that I don't appreciate the sarcasm.

Ooh, we've never been to the Sage, that would be awesome. Not too far to come from Edinburgh either.

Saw Sting at The Sage, it's a fantastic building both inside and out and the
acoustics are superb.

Sting was excellent but he wouln't get off the stage, 3 hours, should have
taken a flask and some butties!
